iPad could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (14). Please help

Tried the update iPadOS solution 4 times now but keep getting "The iPad "iPad" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (14)."

Please help this is my daughters iPad and it has all her drawings on it from the last few years. She never backed it up. :( Anything I can do? She is heartbroken that she might lose them.
