How do I remove the lines in the header and footer of a business letter?

And how do I make the text indent less?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Sandra,

Some of the letter templates appear to have a fixed document margin setting with no user accessible way to change it.

That could be intentional, I suspect it resulted from someone neglecting to unlock the margin settings during the development process, and no one catching the error.

For these, your best choices may be to:

  • Choose a different template OR
  • Study the format, open a new Blank document, set it up to match the template you chose with the changes you need.
  • Save the result as a template with the name "My " (no quotes) followed by the original name.

Step 2 would be to go to the Pages menu, choose Provide Pages feedback, and submit a bug report for the template(s) presenting this issue.

Regards,

Barry
