Your iPad Air2 does not support Fast Charging. The Air2 will charge at its maximum rate when connected to a standard USB Power Adapter rated at 12W (5V @2.4A). You may use a Power Adapter with a higher rating, but the iPad will not benefit or charge at a faster rate.

It is recommended that you always use a good quality Power Adapter from a reputable manufacturer - as these should offer good power regulation and protection; in this regard, Apple sourced Power Adapters should provide increased assurance of suitably. Perhaps an obvious observation, but given the relatively high cost of a iPad, it is false economy to risk damage from a “cheap” third-party charger of dubious quality and origin.

Be aware that whilst newer models of Apple iPad and iPhone support Fast Charging, they use the USB-PD (Power Delivery) standard. Apple devices are not compatible with the other commonly encountered Fast Charging standard - known as “QC” or “Quick Charge”.

I hope this is helpful in providing the information that you seek. If further clarification is needed, please don’t hesitate to ask.
