Can’t get my iPad screen to rotate with orientation. Tried the rotation lock but didn’t help. Ideas

Do you see the problem on only some apps or on all apps?

Which orientation do you see?

Some apps are coded to operate in only one orientation (usually portrait, especially apps written for iPhone originally).
