Apple Music defaults to edited/clean version on artists page

When I search for an artist, it will not show me their recent music and filters to showing edited versions of the album. In some cases the search function will not find the album if it is explicit but I can find it by clicking on one of the albums and scrolling down and it shows more from the artists. I don't understand how I am not able to search and go a back way into finding an album. All my other devices on my account are just fine. I do have explicit turned on so I know that is not the problem.

Hi derrtycal35,

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues when searching for music on your iPhone. We can help with this.

Do you receive any error when you try to play the explicit music or does it play without any issues?

You mentioned that you have "Explicit" enabled, do you have any other restrictions enabled on your iPhone currently?

Have you had a chance to update to iOS 14.0.1? If not, we'd recommend doing that now. This article will explain how: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Cheers!
