Hi


Before you do this make sure that any necessary drives will work on your current macOS


Then:


Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor > Thunderbolt 2 to FW 800 adaptor > FW800-FW 400 adaptor or cable


Works OK here
