Hi, I own a mid 2012 13” MacBook Pro and was looking to upgrade the hard drive and ram as the system was getting quite slow.
I now have a ssd and 8gb of ram and just went through the time machine process of recovering my data from the hhd. However now my Mac is stuck on boot screen with the bar fully filled. It has been like this for 2 hours now. What can I do?

FYI, the hard drive SATA cable has an extremely high rate of failure on this particular model MBPro especially when used with an SSD.
