Change Apple ID email address.

I’ve been trying to change my Apple ID’s email address for years now because of an old email address of mine has been deleted and I’ve been trying to change it to my current email for years now. Is it even possible to change it without creating a whole new account?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 14
