iTunes not on MacBook

I have a MacBook Air 13" early 2015 and a iPad purchased in 2020. I have music that I purchased from iTunes but I can not get it play. I can not find iTune on either of the units. I can not even find a download for iTunes. I have over 876 songs. how can you help me?

Regarding the iPad, there has never (or at least for a very long time) been an app named iTunes. There is an iTunes Store app and a Music app however.
