Initial Mac M1 mini. Can’t get first screen that shows keyboard and mouse prompting me to turn on. I have BT KB and mouse but neither are Recognized. Turned all off and on. No joy. What now

how to get BT keyboard and mouse to pair with Mac M1 mini on initial start up when all recommended help so far has not helped on either. At this point i can’t get any further with initial start up.

Use a wired keyboard/mouse for initial setup.

Are you using a 3rd party BT keyboard & mouse ? There is an issue with USB-A bus power if you are connecting a BT module.

Can you use a wired keyboard and mouse to get past the initial setup ?

Another way is to connect via Apple Remote Desktop from another Mac to complete the setup.
