Editing out of date numbers in my contacts

I have tried to remove old phone numbers from a contact and after editing and removing, hitting the done button, and revisiting the contact, the phone numbers are still there! Why is this happening and how can I fix this problem?

Changes to numbers in contacts In the last couple days I’ve noticed my contact numbers have changed. The numbers now have a dahs in them and they’re no longer recognised as a number. I haven’t done anything with the phone, haven’t changed any settings, it just appeared like this. It has made my contacts unrecognisable when they call or text. Any thoughts?? Help with latest upgrade After the latest automatic upgrade all of my phone numbers disappeared from my contacts. How do I get them back?

Sounds like a bit of a glitch... Its a bit of a pain but could you make a new contact and delete the old one? (Obviously remember which is the new one before you just delete the new one you just made)
