Charging my iPhone 12 using the port in my CPU case instead of using 20W charging brick

Hi, will it be okay to charge my iPhone using the port in my cpu case because the phone heats up with the 20W charging brick and I do not need the fast charging most of the time now. Will it not damage my phone's battery ?
