How do I choose a topic. There is a box requiring it, but it allows no typing.

A “topic” means a specific forum. You choose from the list of forums below Topic. For example, this post is in the Using iPhone topic. If you are viewing a topic (forum) the topic will default to that forum. Usually you just need to click to confirm. However, sometimes you want your post in a different forum. For example, your are in the iPhone forum but your question is about using AirPods with an iPhone, so you might choose the AirPods forum for your post to appear in.
