Touch ID Workaround for Broken Home Button after iOS 14.3

My iPhone 7 Home Button is smashed and I have been surviving adequately with the Accessibility workaround Assistive Touch. Before my upgrade to iOS 14.3 this included looking at Settings -> Passwords: I was asked to enter my passcode and not my Touch ID.

After the upgrade to iOS 14.3, when I try to enter Settings -> Passwords I only get the option "Touch ID to View Saved Passwords", which is unfortunately not possible with the broken home button. I can no longer view my saved passwords.

What changed in iOS 14.3 and how can I fix it. THANK YOU

In reference to razmee209, I thank you for replying, however of course the workaround functionality is required, otherwise the iPhone would be useless when a home button is broken - conceivably in an emergency situation.

Apple appears to have agreed and the problem is resolved after application of 14.4.

Again thanks nonetheless!
