Is an email from appleid@apple.com real or a scam?

I received an email to my university email address from Appleid@apple.com but it was addressed to my sisters name? I’m trying to figure out if it is a legitimate email address it came from or a scam?

is an email from iforgot.com email from noreply@email.apple.com legit? i've seen elsewhere online that if the iforgot.com email doesn't come from iforgot.com then it may be a scam. but this email i got seems to be from the address noreply@email.apple.com is this legitimate?

Is this email from a legitimate Apple source? I got an email from email@insideapple.apple.com which looks legitimate, but I can't be positive. I obviously don't want to click a phishing link if it isn't. Can anyone provide guidance, and should I report it to Apple if it's a bad actor targeting me? [Edited by Moderator]

It's difficult to say since 'From' addresses can be forged. In any case, if there are any links in it don't follow them. If if raises any query about your (or your sister's) account you (or she) should go direct to Apple' site.
