I have an individual Apple Music plan and got in invitation to the family plan. I accepted it. My phone still says it’s on an individual plan. How do I make sure I am on the family plan and not get charged foe the individual plan

I am in a family plan.
I have a music subscription that is paid through most of August.
I would like to add the family to my subscription now.
I have an individual subscription and got invited to the family plan. I accepted the invitation what do I need to do so I am not charged for the individual plan?
