When you take a photo it goes to the main album, if you then create a new album and move the photo there, why can't you then delete it from the main album? If you do delete it from the main album it deletes from the new album that you've transferred it too. This cause an issue with having lots of photo's all in the main album and you can't separate them into different folders and reduce how many you keep in the main album.
I believe the main album is just a list of everything that's in the other albums. The items are already in "folders" by being in other albums. In this regard "folder = "album".
