Unpairing a watch

I no longer have the phone my watch was paired with. If I do the erase process will I lose the activity info on my watch?

When I unpair it does it also erase all my contacts off the watch? I unpaired the watch because I gave the watch back hopefully I didn’t leave any of my information on the watch did I?

Watch does not erase all content and settings I have a new phone and do not have the old one. I’m trying to unpair my Apple Watch by erasing all content and it doesn’t do anything after I select the confirm option to erase.

Only if you don't have an icloud backup of your old phone,fitness data is kept on the phone not the watch.
