How do I airplay from my Mac to my Apple TV

Two ways are possible:

• In-app AirPlay from the TV app, from the Music app, from Safari, or from QuickTime Player
• Whole screen mirroring (any app)

For in-app ‘basic’ AirPlay, find the AirPlay symbol to start streaming.

For screen mirroring, find the option in Control Center.

On Apple TV, verify that AirPlay reception is activated.

Communication is over the home network, so both devices have to connect to the same network.
