Weather app gone

I accidentally deleted the weather app from my homescreen but when I go to the app store and search the app it just says ‘open’. It is not on my home screen or in any of my folders though!! How do I get the app back?

With iOS 14 it can be removed from the home screen without being deleted. If you have iOS 14, go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
