Purchased this older model iPad from goodwill but in order to use it, it says I need contact original owner. I bought it from a second hand store how do I reset This device ?? What are my options I can’t return and it’s been passed 30 days

Properly recycle the ipad. the ipad is useless unless by some miracle you're able to find the original owner.

Unfortunately, Goodwill sold you a brick. I don't believe that Goodwill accepts returns, so you likely will have to recycle it.
