Hi Armaansinghsandhu,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you're running into an issue with photos uploading to iCloud. We're happy to share some information to help.

To start, if you run out of iCloud space this could prevent photos from uploading. See how to check your iCloud storage here: Manage your iCloud storage

Next, if you tap on the 5,925 photos that are not uploading, do they seem to have anything in common or does it appear to be random?

We look forward to hearing from back from you.

Thanks

Hi,

same issue here. I purchased iCloud+ 1TB primary for backup my photos from iPhone. I have over 29k items (photos, videos) in my Photos folder on iPhone. Only about 7k uploaded successfuly. Almost 22k media files are listed in album "Unable to upload". They are random photos. Fore example: also some screenshots are included.

I am so disappointed. I have searched web, forums and Apple support pages but nothing helps.

After having troubles with iCloud I purchased M365 Personal for one month just to test it. It looks everything is fine on OneDrive. Photos are uploading without issues. Also some photos not uploaded to iCloud are already on OneDrive. I have huge photo library on iPhone, so it will take some time before all photos are uploaded to OneDrive. Hope at least that OneDrive will work fine for me if I will not find solution for iCloud+.

Thanks
