Apple Pages printing query

Using the Pages app for Macintosh.

Made a layout size to by 17"x22".

Placed a single graphic inside these dimensions (a hexagon)

Would like the print out on 4 x 8.5"x11".

Which could be tiled and taped together.

Doesn't work. Not even a single sheet will print.

Thank you,

Peter

Pages does not slice (aka tile) a 17x22 inch document containing an appropriately large graphic, into four 8.5 x 11 inch pages containing portions of that original graphic. There are applications, both free and fee in the Mac App Store that can tile images, printing results, or allow one to do so with PDF documents. Search with: image tile. The fee SplitPrint comes to mind. Each developer may have a trial version on their main website.
