why can't I download iTunes on my MacBook pro
MacBook Pro (2020 and later)
If you're running Catalina or newer, because Apple split iTunes up. Choose Applications from the Finder's Go menu and use the new applications instead.
If you're running Mojave, because the bundled version is newer than the standalone ones.
If you're running High Sierra or older, describe what happens when you try to in this thread.

Because iTunes is no longer.
As an alternative...
Use a Virtual Machine:
Run Windows as a Virtual Machine(VM) for running Windows (Windows-in-a-window). You would open items in it, and use iTunes on it. All would be accessed and would operate as desired on the VM. Virtual Machine applications include VMWare Fusion and Parallels. Learn more here: What Is a Virtual Machine? - VMWare Suppor
