Asking about Warrenty

We have no idea who you talked to or what they told you.

US iphones are the only iphones to have mm wave antennas. Support in any other countries cannot replace the phone.

The warranty includes language that warranty coverage may be limited to the country of purchase.

I have personally seen many post here about Indian service centers refusing warranty coverage for US iphones.

No. The warranty is only valid in the country where the device was originally sold.

They may have misunderstood. That is true for some Apple products. Cellular devices are handled differently.
