I have the message forward off and all the messages sent on my phone are still showing on my IPad . How to turn it off

I understand that you have already set Text Message Forwarding to OFF on your iPhone for your iPad. That is one step. The other is the Text Messages in iCloud piece. You may be using iCloud for Messages on your iPhone and your iPad. If you do want the Messages to synch between your iPhone and your iPad, then on your iPad - open Settings âž” Apple ID (Your Name at Top) âž” iCloud âž” Messages: Ensure that this is to OFF.
