A few weeks ago some of my text messages stopped sending to certain contacts, I am thinking they are android users. I googled and tried a number of solutions but nothing worked so far. How can I send text messages to everyone again?

Contact your phone carrier and let them know, text message is their feature.
It was an iOS update that didn’t update a setting. It’s been fixed
