You have a question regarding when you know the migration has completed for your new Mac. You should see a Migration Complete message on your screen. If this helps, please use the information included in this guide: Move your content to a new Mac. It explains what you need to do to continue at the bottom of the guide under "On your new Mac" to check your files and has a great link to help with your older Mac too.

Thanks so much. It appeared that Migration Transfer was spinning for a long time with nothing happening, so we assumed everything was transferred. Nothing was transferred, however. It would be helpful if Apple would tell us to look for the message, "Migration Complete".
