You have a question regarding when you know the migration has completed for your new Mac. You should see a Migration Complete message on your screen. If this helps, please use the information included in this guide: Move your content to a new Mac. It explains what you need to do to continue at the bottom of the guide under "On your new Mac" to check your files and has a great link to help with your older Mac too.
