I’m trying to reset child’s phone but forgot restriction code on their phone.

If this doesn’t work→If you forgot your Screen Time passcode - Apple Support your only option is to reset it to factory settings using a computer→Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
