Linking Verizon Paid Subscription to Apple Music

How do I link my Apple Music subscription to my Verizon account? Right now it shows no subscription to Apple Music and it tells me I have no apple services through Verizon. But I do! I continue getting errors in Apple CarPlay saying unable to connect to Apple Music.

Hi Joycequilla,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. The following steps should help with activating your Apple Music subscription from your wireless carrier:

  1. Your carrier will send you a text message with a link to activate your subscription.
  2. Open the text message and tap the link.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to sign in with your Apple ID and link your phone number. If you see a message that says "This subscription is already being used with a different Apple ID," contact Apple Support to unlink your Apple ID.
  4. If you have a Dual SIM phone, you can activate your Apple subscription on your default line.

This information and more can be found here: Activate Apple subscriptions from your wireless carrier - Apple Support

In addition to those steps, please ensure that your Apple ID country/region is set to the same country/region as your wireless carrier. You can reference the information within the following resource on how-to check: Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

Thank you for the reply. I did get the text and clicked the link but now I don’t recall after that lol. I will try again and if it doesn’t work I will contact support. I do recall getting the subscription is already linked with another Apple ID message, at some point. Thanks again and I will follow up here if/when it’s resolved!
