Apple TV 4K (1st generation) (2017) has an HDMI 2.0 port, and would work best with an 18 Gbps or better HDMI cable.

Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) (2021) has an HDMI 2.1 port, and would work best with a 48 Gbps HDMI cable.
