copy pictures from library to system

can I set to which format the picture should be converted when I copy pictures from the library to the system, e.g. to the desktop? Because sometimes it converts to jpeg and sometimes to png.

Hi

If you want control, you need to use file export, not drag and drop. In particular, drag/drop will only copy the current preview file - which may well be lower quality and smaller size.

So select the images then file>export, and you can choose format (jpg, png or tif) and size/quality.
