deleted music on my mac

I was creating a playlist on my Mac and inadvertently dragged my entire library of music into it. I went to delete the music from that list, but it instead then deleted all the music in my entire library. How can I restore it? The music is still on my iPhone and I do back-up to the cloud.

You should be able to retire the library if you have been making Time Machine backups.

Restore your Mac from a backup - Apple Support


Syncing is meant to go from the computer to the iPhone, not the other way around. You can try this:
