Hide my Apple ID

recently I was messaging someone from work by my personal phone and that was through iMessage I surprised that he doesn't have my number but he got my personal email because iMessage was going through it.

how can I hide my email and Apple ID and if I can't, do I can use my phone number as ID?

"Your Apple ID was used to sign in to iMessage on an iPhone 6s" So I received an email less than an hour ago about my Apple ID was being used to sign in to iMessage on an iPhone 6s. The thing is, I haven't used that email for my Apple ID in a few years because I had to make a completely new account. And so I tried accessing that Apple ID with that email (which is actually my MAIN email I use daily, just not for Apple) and when I went to reset the password, it was going to send it to an email ending with something that doesn't match any of my emails. So, I am not stressed about this or anything but like... is there some way for me to unlink my email from this iPhone because I have no iPhone 6s in my possession and want this person to be able to use the phone for themself without having to use my email. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Someone’s else’s number is on my iCloud how can I remove it if I do not have access to their phone? So when I click on my name then it takes me to iMessage numbers on my account some one else’s number shows up next to mine, how do I delete it off of my iCloud if I do not have access to their phone

Your Apple ID is typically how you make contact via FaceTime or Message is made, same as making contact via email.

You can choose to block an unwanted caller.

To control which numbers and addresses are available, see the accounts available in Settings > FaceTime, and in Settings > Messages.
