Apple Music volume changes continuously

When I’m playing Apple Music on my IPhone 13 Pro Max, the volume continuously increases and decreases during the song, and I’m not sure what’s causing this or how to fix it.

Hello zipporah27,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. You may have a feature on called "Reduce Loud Sounds". This can be located and disabled by following the resource below.

Headphone notifications on your iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

To turn this off:

  1. Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics
  2. Tap Headphone Safety
  3. Toggle Reduce Loud Sounds to the off position

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
