White grid icon on apps and wont open.

So the other day, I deleted an app right before my phone died. When I charged my phone and turned it on, the app was a white grid and it wouldn’t let me open the app. I tried deleting it but it still said “open” when I went to the AppStore instead of “Install”. I tried multiple things including restarting my device, Hard resetting, watching YouTube videos, and googling it but nothing has worked. Someone please help. My device is an iPhone 6s Plus by the way, that might help.

Hi GG_Did-it,

To make sure that the iPhone ahas deleted the app, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, tap on Edit and choose the app you wish to remove. If the app is unable to be deleted, make sure you have the latest software version installed in Settings > General > Software Update and try removing the app. Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Regards.
