How do i set an alarm for a reminder?
Yeah, but it defaults as a one time tone and if you miss that it’s gone. I want to set an alarm that persists until I snooze or cancel like an alarm.

It’s frustrating that there’s not a link in be reminders app to choose a notification. You have to somehow just “know” that you have to go to a completely different place (Settings>notifications).
In the Reminders app tap on the reminder text, then the i on the right and set a date and time.

In Settings/Notifications tap on Reminders and set the alarm parameters you want.
And even the support page for the reminders app doesn’t tell you.
Well, the default for all built in applications is to alert you for notifications. So unless you turned it off the 2nd step should be unnecessary.
You can also get there by going to Settings/Reminders/Notifications.
Then you have to set the notifications you want, just like you would for any other app that you want custom notifications for. Managing notifications works the same way for every app capable of supporting notifications.
