Apple Card and Apple ID setup

I have two apple ID's. My card is not set up with the apple ID I use on my iPhone. Is there a way to set up my iPhone payments app to use a different apple ID from which the phone is set up for?

You can't pay from a different Apple ID. Try using the below to allow the phone ID to use your Apple card.

Set up Apple Card Family and add a co-owner and participants - Apple Support.

I have the same problem but am stuck using an old gmail appleid as I have had it forever and all of my music is associated with it. so on my phone I cant get the Apple Card to work and online doesn't show transactions. really not a good customer friendly system
