Charging issue with original USB-C cable

Hey all.

I have this issue with my iPhone 11 Pro.

If I use an original USB-C to Lightning cable it won't work, but if I use an old (original) USB-A to Lightning cable it works just fine (even if the cable itself is very used and should be replaced).

The USB-C cable works properly with the iPad 8th Gen. I have.

What could the problem be?

Both cable and adapter are 100% original.

EDIT: I restarted the iPhone just to try and now it works only from one side. If I turn the connector on the other side it doesn't work.

Hello,

Yeah, sometimes the cables get corroded. Just get a new one. They are available everywhere at a reasonable cost. If you get an non-Apple brand make sure that it is MFi certified:

Identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning connector accessories

Good luck.
