See If you can't set up HomePod mini or HomePod - Apple Support and Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support. Make sure that your Wi-Fi network is not using any access/client/guest/wireless isolation/security feature that blocks devices on your local network from talking to each other.
