Hi,

The driverless AirPrint technology may work with operating systems as low as Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, but printer manufacturers can set higher system requirements based on extra software for setup, ink management, and similar purposes. This means that many printers mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support could be compatible with OS X 10.11 El Capitan, but you should check this in the individual case. Also, many non-AirPrint printers may have drivers for OS X El Capitan.

Do you already have a printer, or are you interested in one? If so, post back with with the make and exact model.
