I have a hard time changing watch bands. I do order the correct size

I press the button it’s so hard to slide out.
Do I need to put something on the bands?
You might not be pushing the button far enough in.

If that doesn't work try asking in an apple store to help you change the band.
The only thing is I’m near an apple store.
