iPhone 13 iMessage Issue

I updated my 13 to iOS 15.6 and the next day I couldn’t iMessage anyone but my wife. I couldn’t respond in group messages and could only text individuals. When I got home from work the issue seemed to be resolved, but the next day I could only iMessage in group chats and could only text individuals. I’ve tried turning imessage on and off and then restarting my phone, if tried messing with how I want to send and receive iMessages. Nothing seems to work.
