How to open Final Cut Pro project stored in a blu ray disc? We have original M4V file in the same folder along with fcp project. We got permission denied.

When you open a project, it will try to create an edited copy. You can't WRITE to the DVD, it's read-only.
try copying the files to a device you can read and write.
