All of a sudden my Facebook push notifications only say “You have a new Facebook notification”. In order for me to see what the notification is, I have to open Facebook. This is a major inconvenience. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Chances are this a Facebook app issue where Facebook will need to release another update to address it. The most recent one (update was for 9/20/22) says it updated support for iOS 16 and Lock Screen widgets. If you haven’t updated yet give it a try

You can allow access to Notification Center on the Lock Screen. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Touch ID & Passcode (on other iPhone models). Enter your passcode. Scroll down and turn on Notification Center (below Allow Access When Locked).
