My App Store won't load. I get a "Preferences Error: There was an error in Apple ID Preferences."

I've booted in Safe Mode and it still occurs. I'm running 10.15.7 on a clean install.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

After upgrading to 16.03 , I can 't log in to the app store . Constantly crashing

app store is not loadind App store is not available. Message: “ Cannot connect. An error occurred. Try again” i I have tried many times but the result is the same. Soft and hard resets don’t fix the problem. All the other apps are working normally

Not sure what you are recommending. I've tried to logout of apple id, and relog, but it still won't load the App Store and gives me the error message.
