At 5h30 in the morning my phone connects to the carplay but itseems like the microphone does not work, i can hear siri but when i respond siri does not hear me. When i go home at 13h30 the phone connects and everthing works perfectly, siri can hear me and make calls etc. it is only in the mornings that is i phone out people cannot hear me. Siri cannot hear me, yet aftenoon all works fine.

Retrain Siri with your voice
Go to Settings > Siri & Search, turn off Listen for “Hey Siri,” then turn on Listen for “Hey Siri” again. To change Siri accessibility settings, see Use accessibility features with Siri on iPhone.

Siri works fine the rest of the time, it is only in the early hours of the morning it does not work after lunch time it works fine i am not sure if there are some time settings that disable the microphone, i can use carplay by pressing buttons on my car display to make a call. the call will go through but when the person answers they cannot hear me. i can naswer a call by pressing the button on my car display but the person cannot hear me, i can hear them fine though, it is almost like i have put the mute button on.
