I have been reading a lot about this, it even made it to Forbes. Some are finding that turning off Location Services solves the problem. It didn't for me, and many countries require location services to be on if wifi is connected. What ended up working for me was turning off my VPN. I normally use 1.1.1.1, a mini-VPN that redirects DNS searches (pretty much any Internet search used DNS) to their servers (which are 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1). This removes your DNS for the search and, since their servers are not as loaded as most Internet providers' servers, the searches are faster. I've clocked my system as significantly faster with this VPN running. But now, in order to use wifi at all, I have had to turn it off.
I switched 1.1.1.1 off 18 hours ago and it re-enabled itself this morning. I have had continued excellent wifi connections, and I hope this will continue. I had tried almost everything, from switching off wifi entirely (with 5G, there isn't a major change in speed) to forced restart and switching off then restarting. Somehow, turning off my VPN for a few hours solved this problem.
You can find your VPN configuration in Settings-->General-->VPN & Device Management. I hope this works for you.

I updated to iOS 16.1.1 this morning. Five hours later, my VPN works without losing the wifi connection. Before the update it wouldn't stay connected for an hour, so the update probably has fixed this bug.
16.1.1 did not fix the wifi issue for me. What I am having to do is this: everything you had to do except for also turn off my cellphone service while using wifi. The internet only works with one or the other on, not both. Hopefully apple comes out with a new update to fix this issue
Hi. I have the same problem. I also updated my IOS to 16.1 in my iphone 13. I don’t know what to do. I can’t use wifi connection, because it every 2-3 second turns off and then reconnect
Same here
but please Apple support team help us
Update: after a few hours wifi went back to the earlier problem. When my 1.1.1.1 VPN is active, my connection to wifi is unreliable. When I turn it off, the wifi appears to be reliable.
Thanks. This worked for me.
As it turns out, the update to 16.1.1 worked for nearly eight hours. I again have had to turn off the VPN, this still hasn't fixed the problem.
