iPhone 8 on 16.1 the app background picture screen goes to a solid black screen after an app is used.

Hi,

My iPhone 8, upgraded to 16.1 three days ago has started this issue yesterday.

I power it off, it starts ok, the app screens have a picture behind them, as normal.

If I open any app after I use it, even the settings app, the app screen background goes solid black and stays that way unless I power the phone off.

Once powered back on the app background picture returns until you use an app.

I do not use Dark Mode and have checked it is not switched on.

Is this a known issue, if so what can be done to correct it.
