MacBook Pro locked requiring pin/password

My MacBook Pro is, for the first time, asking for a “PIN” with the following message below.


”Your password is required to enable Touch ID”


and


”Password required to enable Apple Watch to unlock this Mac”


I’ve entered my Apple ID password, the 4 digit pin for my watch, and the 6 digit code for my phone/ipad.


None of these are working. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should enter your Mac’s login password, the one you entered when setting up the Mac


So not your Apple ID password, or iPhone/ipad pin
